<p>A yarn winder effects the winding of a group of yarns around winding supports mounted on spindles in tangential contact with a single driving roller. The yarns are fed vertically, touching the single driving roller, and are distributed by a yarn guide system which traverses parallel to the shaft of the single driving roller. The control device for the traversing movement is disposed above the single driving roller, and behind the vertical plane of the yarn feed. Two distribution elements are disposed in front of the plane of the moving yarns and as near as possible to the plane where the yarns touch the single driving roller. Each distribution element is connected to the traverse movement by a connecting arm on which it is mounted in cantilever. The device provides a spindle where two windings may be effected, and where a group of spindles may be wound from a single driving roller.</p> |
