PURPOSE: An automatic pop-up head lamp control apparatus is provided to prevent the disabled state of the head lamp by automatically operating the pop-up head lamp in lowering surrounding temperature below the reference value. CONSTITUTION: An automatic control device of a pop-up head lamp is composed of a temperature detecting sensor(10) measuring temperature of the pop-up head lamp; an ignition key switch(12) detecting off-state of an ignition key; a weight detecting sensor(14) detecting absence of a passenger; a gear switch(16) detecting neutral of a gear; a microprocessor(18); a starting control unit(20) turning on and off the engine; a head lamp control unit(22) turning on and off the pop-up head lamp; a memory(24) storing the freezing point of the head lamp; and a timer(26) counting the elapsed time. The starting control unit and the pop-up head lamp control unit are operated in case of the indoor temperature to be less than the freezing point at the neutral range in stopping the engine without the passenger.
