PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to mature kimchi and cooling a vegetable compartment simultaneously without an additional evaporator. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator includes a main body(20) having a first kimchi compartment and a second vegetable compartment; an evaporator(50) installed to an appropriate place in the main body, preferably between the first compartment and the second compartment, as a component of a heat exchange cycle to generate chilled air; and air blowing devices(32,42) supplying the first compartment and the second compartment with the chilled air generated in the evaporator, respectively.
