<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horn switch of a steering wheel, which can ensure the stable operating ability of the horn switch even when a light metal material is used. SOLUTION: A horn switch comprises 2 contact members 37, 53 and a support member 43 formed of a light metal material with the contact member 53 supported therein, wherein the contact member 53 and the support member 43 are electrically conducted in such a manner that a horn-operating circuit can be formed. A conductor 44 having electric conductivity higher than the support member 43 is arranged between the contact member 53 and the support member 43 so as to contact with both contact member 53 and support member 43. The conductor 44 contacts with the support member 43 in such a manner that a contact area with the support member 43 is made wider than the contact with the contact member 53 in the case where the contact member 53 is brought into contact with the support member 43 by itself, or it is pressed against the support member 43.</p> |
