PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing method and the like to support sale in a shop. SOLUTION: When a customer visiting a shop passes a member card through a card reader 1, the card reader 1 reads a customer code from the member card, and a CCD camera 2 photographs the customer. A card ID and an image data are supplied to a member controlling computer 4, and the computer 4 transmits, in response thereto, a member information request together with the card ID to a control server 7 to acquire member information and the like corresponding to the card ID from a member database 7A. The computer 4 supplys the member information received from the control server 7 together with the image data obtained from the CCD camera 2 to a display 5 for a clerk to be displayed thereon. |
