<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production line control system capable of increasing processing capacity (the number of lots to be processed per unit time) in the whole of a production line by reducing average time required for carrying the lots and reducing carrying loss without changing carrying capability of a carrying device. SOLUTION: This system has a buffer station for temporarily storing lots which are completed in a previous process and are before a prescribed processing in the next process, the carrying device for carrying the lots between the device and a manufacturing device, and a carrying device/manufacturing device communication control computer 2 for driving and controlling the carrying device so that carrying of lots to a manufacturing device having processing capacity lower than other manufacturing devices may be preferentially performed with respect to carrying of lots to the other manufacturing devices, of manufacturing devices on the production line.</p> |
