<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a cable tray for supporting wiring and piping in a building, which is conventionally made by penetrating a load supporting member into backbone members of the building and fixing the load supporting member to the backbone members, but that manufacturing is complicated and requires particular devices. SOLUTION: The cable tray has a central backbone member (10) of a channel member having a web member (12) and two flanges made of each a thin metal plate, and a plurality of load supporting elements (11) comprising each a cantilever beam. Each load supporting element (11) is fixed to the backbone member (10) by a spring clip which has two tongues (23) having flexibility suitable to fix between them the backbone member (10). Each tongue (23) has a hook structure (24) disposed at the free end of it corresponding to the edge of the web (12) and disposes a stud to be inserted into a flange hole (14).</p> |
