PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting structure capable of lighting a fixed display part and a pointer display part of a rotary switch with a single light source. SOLUTION: In the rotary switch 10 including the fixed display part 12 and a turning knob 14 turning around the fixed display part 12, the bottom side of a bowl shaped retainer 18 having a substantially triangular pyramid shape supports the fixed display part 12. A through hole 18a is formed on the apex side of the retainer 18, and a bulb 22 supported by a substrate 20 is disposed in the through hole 18a. The inside of a wall part forming the bowl shape of the retainer 18 forms a central light guiding passage 28 for guiding light from the bulb 22 to the substantially whole region of the rear side of the fixed display part 12, and the inner part of the wall part forming the bowl shape of the retainer 18 forms a side light guiding passage 30 for guiding light from the bulb 22 to the pointer display part 16, thereby guiding the light from the single bulb 22 to the fixed display part 12 and the pointer display part 16. |
