PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element capable of reducing a voltage drop in wiring parts, and capable of making a light emitting part emit the light in saved electric power. SOLUTION: This organic EL element has a plurality of transparent electrodes 12 formed on a light translucent substrate 11, an organic layer 14 positioned on the transparent electrodes 12, and presenting emission, and a back plate 15 positioned on this organic layer 14, and opposed to the transparent electrodes 12. The transparent electrodes 12 have respectively segment corresponding parts D11 to D17 having a shape corresponding to display segment parts S11 to S17, connecting parts C11 to C17 arranged so as to be electrically connectable to an external apparatus, and the wiring parts L11 to L17 for connecting a part up to the connecting parts C11 to C17 from the segment corresponding parts D11 to D17. The respective wiring parts L11 to L17 are provided with wide parts W formed larger than an electrode width of the connecting parts C11 to C17.
