PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing multilayer ceramic capacitors in quantity while suppressing variation in an obtainable capacity. SOLUTION: Ceramic green sheets and inner electrodes are laid in layers alternately and a facing area S between opposite inner electrodes 21 is calculated based on the positional information of each inner electrode 21, capacitance C between the opposite inner electrodes 21 is calculated based on the facing area S and the thickness t of the green sheet of each opposite inner electrode 21 and then all capacitances C are summed. A position for forming a last inner electrode 21bn is determined based on the sum of the capacitance, a predetermined total capacitance, and the thickness t of the green sheet for forming the last inner electrode.
