PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact device by reducing the number of components in the manner of arranging magnets for transfer at one side only of a master disk similar to the case of the transfer to a longitudinal medium even in the transfer to a perpendicular medium, and also to perform the efficient magnetic transfer without distortion. SOLUTION: The magnetic transfer head 1 is formed with a plurality of magnets 2-4 having the different magnetizing components and constituted by combining and integrating these magnets 2-4, then this magnetic transfer head 1 is arranged at either one surface side of contact surfaces 110 of the magnetic recording medium 100 and the master disk 101 to apply the magnetic field of the horizontal direction X or the perpendicular direction Y.
