PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method therefor capable of being applied widely to digital documents and the like including program codes and also capable of recognizing the marks of digital documents improperly used including the case where they are tampered. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a writing means 68 to treat a group of synonymous instruction statement detected by a detecting means 65 for synonymous instruction statements as a group of instruction statements for replacement subjects and to write delivery information into the digital documents by replacing the group of instruction statements for replacement subjects with a predetermined group of the synonymous instruction statements according to a bit string indicating the delivery information, a document comparison means 71 to extract the replaced group of synonymous instruction statements in comparison of mark recognition subject documents with original documents and a decoding means 72 to decode the delivery information added to the mark recognition subject documents. |
