PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device capable of preventing wrong connection and improving assembly workability. SOLUTION: A pair of arc shaped plug blade insertion holes 19 and an arc shaped grounding electrode insertion hole 24 open on a bottom surface of an apparatus 11 of a hook ceiling rose 1, and the plug blade insertion holes 19 and the grounding electrode insertion hole 24 are provided concentrically. A pair of terminal metal fittings 20 are electrically connected to a pair of power lines introduced from an execution work surface, respectively, and hook and hold a hooking plug blade, when the hooking plug blade inserted from an end of each of the plug blade insertion holes 19 moves to the other end direction. A terminal metal fitting 22 equipped with a pair of holding pieces 23b, having an arc shaped cross section positioned along the grounding electrode insertion hole 24, is electrically connected to a grounding conductor inserted from the execution work surface and holds a grounding terminal plate between the pair of holding pieces 23b, when the grounding terminal plate inserted from an end of the grounding electrode insertion hole 24 moves to the other end direction. In the apparatus 11, the pair of the terminal metal fittings 20 and the terminal metal fitting 22 are positioned, in correspondence with each of the plug blade insertion holes 19 and the grounding electrode insertion hole 24.
