PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that good wavelength shaping of a regenerative signal by a comparator is not position by the variation in asymmetry as a result of the variation in disks. SOLUTION: An LPF 8 and an adder circuit 9 for correction are connected between an output terminal and one input terminal of a comparator 7 for wavelength shaping of the regenerative signal of the optical disk reproducing device. A correction value is determined by an error rate obtained from an error detection and correction circuit 13.
