PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve mounting workability and to ensure connection in relation to a connector for a flexible flat connection member for connecting an electric circuit of an internal printed circuit board to another electronic component, in a portable telephone, a notebook-type personal computer or a mobile notebook, for instance. SOLUTION: This connector 1 is used for electrically connecting and mounting the flexible flat connecting member, and is so structured that a lid member 4 for stopping the flexible flat connection member is rotated with respect to the connector body through hinges 2a and is slid along the lengthwise direction of the flat connection member to be positioned, after being rotated and closed.
