PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser device wherein the space between its laser outgoing surface and its condenser lens is kept constant to improve its optical focusing efficiency. SOLUTION: In the semiconductor laser device 1, the alignment of a condenser lens 15 is so performed as to keep constant the space between a flat surface 20c of the condenser lens 15 and an outgoing surface 20a of a semiconductor laser array 11, and thereafter, rigid-body spacers 18 are so slid along the sliding surfaces of a heat sink 14 as to contact the rigid-body spacers 18 with the flat surface 20c of the condenser lens 15. After applying bonding agents 17 to the peripheries of one-ends 20d of the rigid-body spacers 18, the bonding agents 17 are so hardened as to bond the condenser lens 15 to a supporting surface 20b of the heat sink 14. In this way, when the condenser lens 15 is bonded to the rigid-body spacers 18 in the state of it being contacted with the rigid-body spacers 18, even though the bonding agents 17 are subjected to polymerizing contractions, the space between the outgoing surface 20a and the condenser lens 15 is kept constant.
