PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk unit having a friction member which prevents a slip on a turntable for loading a disk, and a low friction member arranged on an outer periphery at a position higher than the friction member. SOLUTION: The optical disk unit includes a turntable which has an upper surface on which the disk is placed detachably, a clamp which fixes the disk, a friction part which is arranged on the upper surface and has a first disk contact part having a first friction coefficient, and a low friction part which is arranged on the outer peripheral part of the first friction part of the turntable and has a second flexible disk contact part having a second friction coefficient smaller than the first friction coefficient, and in which the distance from the upper surface to the second disk contact part is made higher than the distance from the upper surface to the first disk contact part in the state where the disk is not placed on the turntable.
