PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system or method for reporting identification information which can safely and surely report identification information, including an ID number, a password, etc., given uniquely to a user who becomes a newly member, and enables the user who is to become the member to instantaneously confirm the distributed identification information. SOLUTION: In a communication system, wherein a trader 2 and the user 4 are connected to each other via a communication line 5, the user side generates user-side modified identification information by applying an identification information modification rule to the sent identification information and sends it back to the trader; and the trader compares the user-side modified identification information with modified identification information that a password authentication server 400 stores and determines the modified identification information as formal identification information of the user, on the condition that they match. |
