<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disorder in work by a collector and enable correct collec tion using an ETC in a situation that an ETC vehicle is mixed with a preceding non-ETC vehicle, both not yet toll-collected, on a lane at a tollgate. SOLUTION: As a toll is not yet collected by a collector from a preceding vehicle (non-ETC vehicle) when the following ETC vehicle reaches a vehicle detector 14 (S2), display for temporary stop or speed reduction is displayed on a road side display 15, and display on a display 19 in a booth remains contents for the preceding vehicle (non-ETC vehicle). At timing when toll collection from the preceding vehicle is completed, display of ETC vehicle is displayed in the display 19 in the booth, and indication of the ETC vehicle is displayed in the road side display 15 unless there is a new vehicle invading after the ETC vehicle at that time.</p> |
