PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface mount crystal filter which facilitates adjustment of various electric characteristics after fixing a crystal diaphragm subjected to electrode formation to a package and also prevents a short circuit between electrodes during electric characteristics adjustment. SOLUTION: An electrode constituting a monolithic crystal filter is formed on the front and rear faces of the crystal diaphragm 2. A first extracting electrode and a second extracting electrode are pulled out of an input electrode 22 and an output electrode 22, respectively to form a proximity area on the surface. Bridging capacitance C is formed with the proximity area. The bridging capacitance is adjusted by adjusting the size of an electrode by laser-trimming, changing a proximity distance (t) by electrode addition by local, partial vacuum deposition or changing electrode sizes.
