PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent risk of a crossover part of a horizontal deflection coil getting in contact with a neck end part of a cathode-ray tube to be damaged in installing a deflecting yoke onto the cathode-ray tube adopting the horizontal deflection coil having the crossover part on the coil rear end side in a bendless structure. SOLUTION: This deflecting yoke 1 comprises the horizontal deflection coil 2 wound in a saddle form with the crossover part 7 on the coil rear end side extended straight in a yoke center axis direction to form a bendless structure. A coil protective part 10 is provided to cover an inner surface of the crossover part 7 of the bendless structure as integrally formed with a separator 4.
