PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a cold cathode fluorescent lamp capable of eliminating a variation in chromaticity between products and between cold cathode fluorescent lamps in axial direction. SOLUTION: The components of a fluorescent substance formed by mixing red R, green G, and blue B fluorescent substances with each other and organic solvent SV are adjusted, and the adjusted substance and solvent are agitated in a dry atmosphere to manufacture fluorescent substance suspension. The manufactured fluorescent substance suspension is applied onto the inside wall surface of a glass tube, and the inside wall surface is dried.
