PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a space occupied by a load-break switch in high pressure air and its operating apparatus in storing them in a switch board. SOLUTION: The front surface of the load-break switch 11 in high pressure air mounted to a mounting block is covered with a protecting plate 20, and the protecting plate 20 has an opening. A door 21 operable/closable by a hinge 22 is mounted to the protecting plate 20 and covers the opening. The door 21 is joined to a manual operating lever of the load-break switch 11 in high pressure air with a connecting device 23, the load-break switch 11 in high pressure air is a closed passage when the door 21 is closed, a knob 24 mounted to the door 21 is pulled to rotate the door 21 in the front and down direction to open the load-break switch 11. A key is provided for the knob 24, and the door 21 does not open if the key is not released. A key is provided for a hinge 22 part or a knob 24 part, and the door 21 does not close if the key is not released. Thus, danger of carelessly opening or closing the load-break switch 11 is avoided.
