PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform data processing without problems and to secure normal reproduction operation, even when a dynamic range of a signal detected at data reproduction of hybrid disks, such as a CD-R disk, largely varies. SOLUTION: An optical disk reproducing device is provided with an amplifier 3 for performing amplification processing and an equalizer 4 for performing equalization processing for a reproduced signal (S1 signal) obtained when reproducing an optical disk 1. Disk reproduction address information contained in the signal outputted from the equalizer 4 is detected, and the conditions about an amplification factor of the amplifier 3 and a frequency band and an amplification factor being an object of the amplification processing in the equalizer of the equalizer 4 are controlled in accordance with above address information.
