PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motherese-like tone generator for generating, in relation to the infants' action, tones similar to a motherese which can attract infants' interest and for being able to promote the process of the language development appropriately. SOLUTION: The motherese-like tone generator is provided with: a fundamental tone generating means 14 which generates fundamental tones containing predetermined fundamental frequencies; and a variation tone generating means which gives intonation changes of a fixed range to the fundamental tones provided with the overtone structure, and makes the fundamental tones variation tones. By a starting means 13 which operates by the rhythmical movement of the user's upper half of the body, the fundamental tone generating means 14 and the variation tone generating means are started, and motherese-like tones are generated. |
