PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for member registration, an electronic mail transmission system, and a service providing system which enable speedy member registration without input operation for personal information nor mail authentication. SOLUTION: A server 2 which distributes opt-in-mail when receiving a request (S11) to distribute invitation mail inviting members who can use various servers from a server 1 providing the services through the Internet NTW sends invitation mail including personal information of customers as objects of transmission of the opt-in-mail (S12). Then a customer operates to send registration mail including the personal information from a client 3 to the server 1 (S13) and the server 1 receiving it registers the personal information included in the received registration mail in a member information database.
