PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet betting system capable of coping with such problems that, though it is convenient for subscribers a system is made possible to purchase a winning horse betting ticket from a personal computer terminal or a portable telephone via the Internet, the system must have high reliability, must not fail, and must safely and certainly transmit and receive betting information data. SOLUTION: This Internet betting system has two betting subsystems for a personal computer terminal and two betting subsystems for a portable telephone and is prevented from failing due to one LAN system, and each device of each betting subsystem has redundant configuration to allow degeneracy operation. Thus, the system is made to have high reliability, and the portable telephone is included, thereby the subscribers are made able to bet anywhere. |
