PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sending and receiving efficiency of data by selecting a compression algorithm in accordance with each load of a sending source computer, a sending target computer, and a network. SOLUTION: A compression control part 20-N of the computer 1-N to be a sending source of the data retrieves a compression format of data to the sending target computer 1-N from a compression information data base 50-N and compresses the data. A communication control part 10-N sends the data to the network 2, and a communication control part 10-N of the sending target computer receives the data. After depression of the data, a depression control 20-N sends a response message to the sending source computer. In the sending source computer, the communication control part receives the response message and a load determination control 40-N determines loaded conditions of the sending source and target computers and the network from compression/ depression time and sending and receiving time of the data. It automatically lowers a compression ratio if a load of one of the sending source or target computer is high, and it raises the compression ratio if a load of the network is high. |
