PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image communication unit that stores a job reception number, a transmission result history, a reception result history and destination information in cross-reference with each other by each of various protocols in a unified way as communication history information without the need for a storage area for re-transmission and return for each protocol and attains a reply operation without wrong operation even in the case of 2nd transmission to a destination to which transmission is made previously and in the case of replying a received opposite party. SOLUTION: The image communication unit is provided with a communication history storage means that stores a job reception number, a transmission result history, a reception result history and destination information in cross- reference with each other by each of various protocols in a unified way, a destination information display means that displays destination information stored in the communication history storage means as a list and a transmission reply means that executes transmission and reply to a destination selected by an operator.
