The hinge for a door leaf has a blade (1) and counter blade (2). The blade has lugs (1b) extending at spaced points along it to extend through openings in the door leaf and into receiving openings (2a) in the counter blade. The opposing face of the counter blade has recesses to receive screw head covers (4). The recesses are concentric with the receiving openings. The screw head covers can have recesses to receive the tops of the screw heads.
