FOLDER-TYPE MOBILE INFORMATION TERMINAL AND ITS INFORMATION DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folder-type mobile information terminal by which a user can confirm required information even in a folded state and confirm the required information while the user uses the terminal by touching the terminal on the ear. SOLUTION: In the folder-type mobile information terminal where an upper case 1 provided with a reception section 7 and a lower case 2 provided with a transmission section 19 are interconnected foldably via a hinge 3, the lower case 2 is made longer than the upper case 1 to form a projection section projecting from the upper case 1 in a folded state and to provide a display device 24 on the side opposed to the upper case 1 of the projection section. Since the display device 24 is exposed even in the folded state, the user can confirm display information on the display device 24 and even when the user touches the reception section 7 to the ear in an open state, the user can visually view the display device 24.
