PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element excellent in driving durability by improving the element constitution of the organic electroluminescence element. SOLUTION: This organic electroluminescence element has a pair of electrodes and an organic layer of at least one layer sandwiched between the electrodes. A metal diffusion preventive belt is arranged on an interface between at least one electrode and the organic layer so that the organic electroluminescence element excellent in driving durability can be provided.
