PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a thin battery superior in liquid-tightness and air-tightness of a sealing structure. SOLUTION: In this method of manufacturing a thin battery by wrapping a power generating element 1 having a positive electrode 4, a separator 6, a negative electrode 5 and a non-aqueous electrolyte, by an armoring member 7 formed by laminating a metallic sheet 7a, a sealant film 7b and a resin film 7c, and thermally fusing a peripheral edge part of the armoring member 7 to seal the power generating element 1 in the armoring member 7, the plasma irradiation is executed to an external terminal 2 positioned on a thermally fused part, a part or the whole of surfaces of the sealant film 7b and an adhesive insulating film 11, in advance. |
