PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of a film unformed part, and form an organic EL layer for respective RGB elements on a transparent substrate 20. SOLUTION: When forming the organic EL layer by depositing an organic EL medium for R, G and B on the transparent substrate 20 from an opening part by using a metal mask 10 for forming the opening part 11 at a pitch corresponding to an arrangement pattern of the R, G and B elements formed on the transparent substrate, the metal mask 10 is used for partitioning the opening part 11 by the edge 12 larger than a required light emitting area. Since organic EL medium layers 21R, 21G and 21B having the are for completely including the required light emitting area are formed on the transparent substrate 20, the film unformed part deteriorating a display grade is not generated. |
