PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FPC connector, capable of preventing the disconnection of the FPC and of stopping a foreign substance from being caught between the land pattern of the FPC and the contact of a housing. SOLUTION: This connector comprises a combination of a housing 1 and an actuator 2 connected to the housing 1. The FPC 3 is held by the actuator 2 in an erected attitude to the housing 1, then the actuator 2 is laid on the housing 1 and slid in parallel with the housing 1 to lock the actuator 2 to the housing 1, and the land pattern 4 of the FPC 3 is brought into press contact with the contacts 5 of the housing 1, so that a foreign substance adhering to the land pattern 4 or the contact 5 is removed from a part among the land pattern 4, the contact 5 and the actuator 2 through frictional force by the slide of the actuator 2.
