PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sort processing method and a sort processor rearranging input data in the prescribed order and outputting data by comparing the input data in size with hardware in a computer and data processing. SOLUTION: The sort processor rearranging the input data by comparing the input data in size has first fundamental cells each combined with a first data comparator outputting a first selection signal by comparing the input data in size and a first data selector rearranging the input data in the size order based on the first selection signal. The same number of the first fundamental cells as the number of comparisons of the input data are connected in a pipeline shape.
