PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required for exchanging a component supply unit as much as possible in an electronic component mounting system, and as much as possible avoid reduction in the operating efficiency of the electronic component mounting system. SOLUTION: A pallet conveyor 12 and a pallet-returning device 14 are provided on a bed 10, in a state of being extended in an X-axis direction in a horizontal plane, and an electronic component mounter 16 is provided above the devices 12, 14. The electronic component mounter 16 is provided with 16 pairs of component mounting units 30 arranged in the X-axis direction, and each component mounting unit 30 can move a chucking nozzle for holding and electronic component in the X-axis direction and in a Y-axis direction. A plurality of component supply units 290, for accommodating a great number of electronic components of one type, respectively, and sequentially supplying a large number of electronic components to a component supply position are collected as one set, and a plurality of sets are mounted to a plurality of carts 294 so as to be detached in each set, and the carts 294 are connected to the bed 10. Each component mounting unit 30 takes out an electronic component from each of the part supply units 290, and mounts it to a circuit board on a pallet. |
