<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components or to improve the traveling stability of a tape-shaped recording medium. SOLUTION: A tape drive unit 1 in which a traveling mode during winding in which a tape-shaped recording medium 102 is wound around a drum 17 to be run, and a traveling mode during non-winding in which the tape-shaped recording medium is not wound around the drum to be run, are set, is provided with a tension regulator lever 24 which is turned in a first direction in the traveling mode during winding and turned in a second direction opposite to the first direction in the traveling mode during non-winding, a first guide axis 24a which is provided on the tension regulator lever and gives tension in contact with the tape-shaped recording medium when the tension regulator lever is turned in the first direction, and a second guide axis 24b which is provided on the tension regulator lever and gives tension in contact with the tape-shaped recording medium when the tension regulator lever is turned in the second direction.</p> |
