PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that cassette connecting type electronic equipment drives solely within a range input to/output from an I/F and cannot drive an application cassette using other signals inputting to/outputting from the cassette connecting type electronic equipment not inputting to/outputting from the I/F. SOLUTION: Outputting video signals not input to/output from the I/F is realized by equipping a middle cassette 101 with the same CPU as a body 601 and transmitting KB information of the body 601 to the CPU via a connector 603. Software is stored in a cassette 602 connected with the middle cassette 101. The KB information of the body 601 is periodically detected and input in the CPU inside the middle cassette 101 as pseudo KB signals. The software is controlled by the CPU inside the middle cassette 101 and converts LCD signals output form the CPU into the video signals for outputting from a video cable 103.
