<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation analyzing apparatus and method therefor capable of suitably evaluating such degree of influence that a plurality of operating factors affect the results of operation, in whole processes determining the processed amount or quality as the results of operation. SOLUTION: In a cluster analyzing part 101, a first cluster analysis in which input data are classified into a prescribed number of clusters by using operation factors 1 to (n) and a second cluster analysis in which input data are classified into a prescribed number of clusters by using the remaining operation factors that exclude one operation factor (i) from the operation factors 1 to (n), are performed. In an information entropy calculating part 102, the information entropy Ho is only calculated for data of the results of operation, and the information entropy Ha is also calculated based on the result of the first cluster analysis, and the information entropy Hi is also calculated based on the result of the second cluster analysis. As the information entropy Hi consequently obtained is closer to the information entropy Ho, the operation factor (i) can be evaluated to be a factor having greater influence on the results of operation.</p> |
