PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for realizing a computer system to be used for networks comprising plural computer systems connected in a chain and the system. SOLUTION: A power supply 102', at least one input terminal 106', and at least one output terminal 108' are provided for the computer system 100'. The input terminal 106' receives power from first parts of several computer systems and supplies power from the power supply 102' to the first parts of the systems. The output terminal 108' supplies from the power supply 102' to second parts of the systems and receives power from the second part of the systems. The first parts of the systems contain upstream computer systems while the second parts of the system contain downstream computer systems.
