<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal crimping method and device, capable of precisely electrically connecting an electric connection terminal, without deviating the crimping position of the electrical connection terminal from a normal position. SOLUTION: This terminal crimping device 21 inserts the tips of sticking parts 7 and 8 erected on both side edges of a flat part 6 in the electrical connection terminal 2 into a flat circuit body 1 and thereafter, electrically connects the terminal 2 to the circuit body 1 by folding the tips in the mutually approaching directions. The device 21 is provided with an anvil 23 for supporting the undersurface of the flat part 6 of the terminal 2, an upper crimper 28 disposed at a position facing to the anvil 23 and having forming die surfaces 28a and 28b for folding and forming the respective tips of the sticking parts 7 and 8 in the mutually approaching directions, a punch unit for moving the upper crimper 28, and a circuit body holding means 25 for holding the circuit body 1 in a flat form between the anvil 23 and the upper crimper 28.</p> |
