摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power on reset circuit capable of eliminating useless current consumption after generation of a power on reset pulse even when a condition means inside a capacitor charging time constant circuit is configured by using a fine MOS element having an off leak current tending to increase. SOLUTION: In the power on reset circuit provided with a power supply voltage detecting circuit 10, capacitor charging time constant circuit 30, off leak current capacitor charging cutoff circuit 20 and output circuit 35, when a power supply voltage is lower than a peculiar threshold voltage, charging to an MOS capacitor NMOS 33 with an off leak current from a PMOS 31 as a conduction means inside the capacitor charging time constant circuit is cut off by an NMOS 25 as a charging cutoff means inside the off leak current capacitor charging cutoff circuit and when the power supply voltage becomes higher than the peculiar threshold voltage, charging the MOS capacitor inside the capacitor charging time constant circuit is started.
