<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information retrieving method capable of setting operation information in a plurality of component information, retrieving the component information which can be operated to a specific product, or retrieving the product information (product name) of the product to be operated. SOLUTION: In a component information management device 2, when operation information 24 indicating the capability of operation to a specific product 16 is set in a component class 18, the operation information 24 of the product 16 similar to the operation information 24 set in the component class 18 is set in all component information 17 belonging to the component class 18 in which the operation information 24 is set. Also, when the product information (product name) of the specific product 16 is inputted, the component class 18 in which the operation information 24 indicating the capability of operation to the product 16 indicated by the inputted product information is set or the component information 17 belonging to the component class 18 is retrieved. Moreover, when the component information 17 is inputted, the product information of the product to which the component information 17 is operated is retrieved based on the operation information 24 set in the inputted component information 17.</p> |
