<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network management system where management traffic attended with network management is not produced. SOLUTION: A communication unit 1 being an object to be managed stores management information 7 to a non-use part 26 of a transmitted packet 6 and transmits the resulting packet 6 where the management information and communication data are intermingled. On the other hand, management units 4, 5 receive all packets delivered through a network and discriminate whether or not the management information and the communication data are intermingled in the received packets based on the flag set to the packets. The management units 4, 5 extract the management information from the received packets and store the management information in them.</p> |
