DISK RECORDING DEVICE WITH FUNCTION FOR PROHIBITING DUPLICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk recording device which is capable of surely preventing the illegal duplication of a disk by simple means. SOLUTION: Whether copying is okay or not is decided by reading the catalog numbers and ISRC(international standard recording code) of the disk 1. If these numbers are already registered in a duplication history table 3, the copying from the disk 1 to the disk 2 is prohibited. If the numbers are not already registered in the duplication history table 3, the copying from the disk 1 to the disk 2 is performed and the catalog numbers and ISRC are registered in the duplication history table 3.
