摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that an original video can freely be copied even when copying of a video software is prohibited because copying information is omitted in the case of performing the format conversion of a video signal in a conventional video signal processor. SOLUTION: The video signal processor is provided with a replacing signal generation circuit 3 for outputting a video signal for preventing copying and a selector which properly carries out switching of the video signal when the copying control information instructs inhibition of copying a video format conversion circuit 2 and which replaces a part or all of video signals being a main video inputted from a video format conversion circuit 2 with the video signal inputted from the circuit 3.
