PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk, in which the high speed positioning of a magnetic head can be carried out by learning outer force to act on a magnetic head driving system in a settling mode without largely changing the configuration of a positioning control system and using the learning result in the settling mode of next-time seeking. SOLUTION: The integration value of a position difference between a target position orbit and a magnetic head position is calculated at every seeking operation, an outer force compensating value is updated based on the integration value and the outer force compensating value is added to the positioning control system as a feed-forward input.
