PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vibration during the rotation of a disk by a simple process without increasing the number of parts. SOLUTION: The disk drive unit has a suppression projection 13 formed in the portion at the side of the bottom of a housed tray 20 and in the portion of the corner from which the location of the disk is set aside so that the surface cover 11 of the outside casing 10 to cover the disk side of the tray 20 presses the tray 20 to a tray support 30 in a direction vertical to the moving direction of the tray 20 when the tray 20 on which the disk is set is housed in and fixed to the inside of an outside casing 10 by the tray support 30. The tray 20 has a slant face 23 at the position where the suppression projection 13 comes in contact, so that the suppression projection 13 can gradually press the tray 20 to the tray support 30 when housing the tray 20.
