PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that radio equipment radiates strongly even in the direction of a human body to exert an influence on the human body and also to lower sensitivity when the radio equipment is carried and also that sensitivity deteriorates in the case the incoming direction of radio waves is different from a direction where the directivity of an antenna system exists even when the radio equipment is away from the human body such as at a waiting time. SOLUTION: This radio equipment is provided with at least two antennas 101 and 102 and a switch circuit 105 for performing switching so as to feed at least one antenna between the antennas 101 and 102, and the unfed antenna between the antennas 101 and 102 switches the directivity of the antenna by functioning as a parasitic element with respect to the fed antenna.
